Olinda Spring Water accepts responsibility for the harmful effects its operations may have on the environment and is committed to reducing them. The Company is leaders in its industry in reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and the first in Australia to be accredited carbon neutral by Climate Active.

In an industry flooded with single use plastics, Olinda Spring Water have chosen to focus on our returnable bottle service and our smaller glass bottle range of locally sourced spring water.

Our aim for reducing emissions guide our selection criteria of products, services and activities within Olinda Spring Water and are a key mechanism to assist us in our reduction strategies.

As such, the Company will measure and monitor its impact on the environment, including but not limited to energy, water, waste and transport, and set targets for ongoing improvement which will be reviewed and updated annually through our applications with Climate Active.

The Company will comply with all relevant environmental legislation.

The Company will encourage the adoption of environmental principles by its suppliers and preference products and services with credible environmental sustainability credentials.

Olinda Spring Water’s emission reduction strategy is to decrease our greenhouse gas emissions by 10% by 2025 and 30% by 2030 (from our base year and first accreditation year which was 2020/21).
